Helping Families Stick Together During Hard Times

The mission of Family Care Connections is to help families stick together and our agency wants to support them in their mission. Family Care Connections helps families who are in need of additional services and resources by connecting them to the right people and providing additional support as needed.

 FCC helps individuals such as Christi, a woman who had moved from Dallas and was experiencing partner abuse and homelessness. Christi and her 3 children were in need of shelter and were at risk of spending one of the coldest nights, out on the street. After searching for shelter and being unsuccessful, she was able to connect with an FCC caseworker who connected her with someone who was willing to pay for 2 nights for Christi and her family to stay in a motel. The caseworker also helped Christi and her young children to travel back home to her family. “We believe that no family should have to experience homelessness and we want to make sure that we do what’s in our power to help families like Christi’s.”

FCC continues to advocate for those who are in need of a voice and they work to make sure that families are able to stick together during the hardest of times. Our agency wants to make sure that families like Christi never have to fear being split up or spending the night out on the streets.
