Helping Veterans Overcome PTSD

Our agency is raising funds to support veterans who are battling PTSD. We are working alongside organizations that provide resources and assistance to veterans to overcome PTSD and to bring awareness about the issues they face to the general public.

PTSD stands for post-traumatic stress disorder and causes mental health problems to develop when someone experiences or witnesses a life-threatening event or natural disaster. The effects of it often make it difficult to do normal daily activities. As a result, many veterans return home from combat and have a difficult time adjusting to everyday life. “We can only imagine the struggles that these brave soldiers face and we stand behind them as they get acclimated to normal life.”

There is an average of 200,000 veterans that go homeless each night. 45% of them suffer from PTSD or some form of mental illness. Funds raised throughout this campaign will support efforts of local organizations that work to ensure that our local heroes receive the help that they need to live a better life.
